There, she led a large introduction in new products, quadrupling the company’s portfolio from four to 16 brands, as well as increasing revenue by 80 percent and tripling profits. Privately held Clif Bar sells natural energy, nutrition and snack bars. O’Loughlin is credited with coming up with its Luna bar, designed for women. She left the company in April to spend more time with her family and to create a chain of family entertainment centers called Blue Sky Family Club with her husband. O’Loughlin has been in the consumer packaged goods industry for 15 years, including time with Quaker Oats Co. and General Foods. She attended the University of Michigan and Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
